Biography
Arnaud Tshibangu Mukendi advises on corporate law (M&A, restructuring, etc.), business law and commercial law in the OHADA zone. He has also developed a solid experience in complex litigation and arbitration.
Arnaud Tshibangu Mukendi also covers a wide range of sub-sectors in the Democratic Republic of Congo, including hydrocarbons, mining, forestry, energy and infrastructure.
He has assisted a wide range of key players in these sectors, from foreign or multinational companies, including lenders, sponsors and project companies to government or public sector agencies, in numerous development and project finance transactions.
Prior to joining Bennani & Associés, Arnaud Tshibangu Mukendi worked at several law firms in New York where he is admitted to the New York bar. He also worked more recently as a business lawyer in Belgium for several law firms where he assisted and advised clients in various areas of business law, with a particular focus on cross-border transactions involving Europe and Africa. He is also a member of the Brussels Bar.

Advice and assistance to a Canadian mining company in the constitution of securities and the securing of USD 175,000,000 for the financing of a gold project in the DRC (Maniema and South Kivu provinces).
Swiss Raw Materials Company
Advising a Swiss commodities company in connection with its pre-financing of USD 50,000,000 of copper and cobalt minerals.
British company
Advising and assisting a British company in the financing and construction of a mini-electricity network throughout the DRC.
Congolese Bank
Advice and assistance to the second largest Congolese bank in its merger with the fourth largest Congolese bank for an amount of USD 95,000,000.
