Mehdi has worked for several years in New York with US firms: Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP and Bryan Cave LLP. His international experience enables him to act on complex international transactions. Mehdi M. Bennani acts on international M&A transactions, joint ventures, real estate transactions and national and international contracts as well as financing transactions. Mourad Seghir, is the Partner in charge of the Algiers office. Mourad received his LL.M. Degree (Master of Laws) from Northwestern University School of Law (Chicago, USA). Mourad is admitted to the New York bar and has spent a substantial part of his career with Ghellal & Mekerba in Algiers. Mourad is particularly knowledgable with respect to the Algerian law and practice related to foreign investments, joint venture, M&A, public and private contracts, exchange control regulation, labor law, and infrastrucute projects.
Lamia Harguem is the Partner in charge of the Tunis office. Lamia has over 11 years of experience including 8 years spent with French firm Gide Loyrette Nouel in Tunis. Lamia is admitted to the Tunis bar, having received a Master in Business Law (DEA) in 2003 from The Faculty of Legal, Political and Social Sciences of Tunis. Lamia is particularly knowledgeable in Tunisian law and practice related to foreign investments, joint ventures, M&A, public and private contracts, exchange control regulation, labor law, public private partnership and project finance.
Assemian Faustin Kouakou is the Partner in charge of the Ivorian office. Assemian was the head of the legal department at NSIA Participations, an Ivorian holding company that comprises banks and insurance companies operating in various countries across central and West Africa. He has 10 years of solid experience in Ivorian business law. Assemian holds a post graduate degree in business law from the University of Cocody in Abidjan and is registered in Abidjan as Conseil Juridique.
